Check engine light and a spanner light comes on and engine power reduce. I ran a diagnostic test and The code B1313 for interior lighting, has anyone seen that message?

I haven't had any "B" codes, but I've had several others, including the P0F01 and others relating to a supposed air/fuel problem. After some thought, I've discovered the reason the MIL (maintenance indicator light—the engine symbol) illuminates.

It occurs when you make a manual shift, and either the engine RPM or MPH limit for the gear you've selected is out of range, even though the redline (per sé) is not exceeded. The MIL doesn't necessarily turn on immediately, and may not light until the next restart.

My opinion is, it is a glitch in the software, but Ford won't comment, at least so far.
