Band of Brothers is always a must watch. I didn't get into The Pacific as much. A new series Masters of The Air is coming out this spring. And if you like documentaries on bomber crews, The Cold Blue is fantastic. It was released at a theater here in St Louis and one of the guys in the documentary was there. And another B17 pilot who was shot down and ended as a POW was there as well. After the showing, these two outstanding airmen took questions and talked about their experiences.
Let the world know that I didn't do that! I started it though! To soon??

I’ve heard of it, but not seen it.on of the courses im taking is literature and film. its basically just checking off the credit for me as i was not thrilled to take it. basically we watch movies the professor picks then we write about it. death of a salesman is coming up next. ive never seen it but apparently its famous?
I couldn't get into the pacific either. I think because it jumped around so much. BoB has a cohesive story focused on one group that allowed great character development.Band of Brothers is always a must watch. I didn't get into The Pacific as much. BOB did a good job of starting at the beginning and following them all the way through. As you said, much more focused.I couldn't get into the pacific either. I think because it jumped around so much. BoB has a cohesive story focused on one group that allowed great character development.
I watch it whenever it's on plus I have the DVD set so I can watch it whenever I want.
Maybe HOWDY stranger. ??Don’t even know what to say…![]()
