He's a sensitive lil guy, apparently. I'm blocked too for some reason. I guess if you post something he reads that triggers him he "cancels" you .

Nah...y'all aren't cancelled at all.
The rest of us can see you, so you still exist.
It's just that he's dead to you now since you can't see him. ;)
Carry on!

Yeasterday we did broken arrow trail and soldiers pass in Sedona… man the was really cool.. so with the monsoons coming here I thought I’d try some mudding!
Here’s a couple pics from Sedona.. I get I pushed it a little harder this time!

All dry inside. Bone stock truck and tail pipe was submerged a few times. The key is to go slow and don’t stop. I used the trail control set at 2 mph to get through that stretch. It worked great
I've been in mud/water touching the Ford emblem in the grill, and the passenger side floor was flooded. The passenger side was in deeper, the driver's side water stayed below the door sill, even with the door open no water came in. I accredited the flood to the door seal, but since I've been told there is an open hole in the passenger side floor, that was probably the cause. Water was 1" above the bottom of the speaker on the passenger door.

I'd be looking for that hole and plugging it asap!

I was talking with a taco friend about going out mudding and he said that I should get a diff breather… for you experienced tremor mudders, is there anything I will need to do to this truck to enjoy mudding? A list of accessories needed to keep the truck safe while mudding?
Any recommendations would be appreciated
Diff breather is at like the fuel cap level front is a tad lower you could extend it to be safe but not 100 percent necessary, in reality you are going to be lightyears ahead of that taco in capability, I would advise good recovery gear, a change of clothes and jug of water to wash your hands off for when he gets stuck and you have to rescue him.

Duly noted! Thanks for the information…

I have yet to try trail control.. I guess I should see how that actually works… I mean I know how it supposed to work but have never had a situation where I thought to use it.. I’m such a noobie ??‍♂
When you say upgrading the alternator, what recommendations would you have?
There is no actionable way to do so the issue is its location but as long as you are smart about how you drive youll have no issues, I go through loads of mud and water and have had zero issue *knock on wood* and I have a skinnier skid plate than you make sure that you are competent in your driving because going super fast throwing up mud and water is not good, as slow as you can as fast as you must

WOW! That looks pretty deep ?
No issues with water in the cab? Any specific mods you had to do for your truck? Your tailpipe had to be under water…
tailpipe isnt an issue as long as you maintain throttle to keep water from going back in

That is also important, I am fairly certain its auto disabled when you are in 4 hi but its good to hit the button anyway but even if its on you should really try not to stop when you are in water if at all possible, also quick word of advice send the taco through stuff first his truck is less valuable than yours lol!
