Hey guys, installed a 2.5" Rough Country level on my 4x4 2019 and not liking the front sitting slightly higher than the rear. Looking into a rear shock to add some control when towing and an inch or more of preload to lift the back just a bit.

Monroe has the Max-Air and the adjustable coilover rear, but nothing from them or Rancho for the Rangers. Anyone successfully cross references a set that fit?

Thanks

A set of Rancho RS5116 shocks should be a pretty good fit, if you use 12mm x 16mm x 35mm sleeves top and bottom. Think back of the original Ford Bronco.

-- Sleeves are 12mm x 16mm x 40mm, not 35mm!!!

There are a ton other GM and Chrysler trucks from the 80's, 90's and early 2000's that call for the same basic shock, again just without the metric bushing sleeves.

So, any air shock or spring boosted shock from the same families of trucks should be pretty easy to adapt and install.

A length of 12mm id, 16mm od aluminum tubing is easy to find, and easy to cut to size as needed.

The shock bushing are 12mm x 16mm x 40mm, not the 35 I first posted. Still, easy to make.

Just installed a set of Rancho's on my RWD.
