I’ve been on the Internet a LONG time…nothing you could post here would shock me. ? In fact, this all checks out…I‘ll be sure to post a damper picture within minutes of picking her up Monday.

Hey all. I’ve been lurking here a while researching a new Ranger. I put an order in a month or so ago for both an XLT and a Lariat (suggested by the sales guy since Ford was limiting 501A orders for a while).

No news from Ford but I got a text from the salesman today that they took delivery of a 2023 Lariat 501A with the Jungle Edition package in Eruption Green. I dropped by to see it in person and it’s a really great color. Limited edition interior as well with black leather and grey stitching. The matte grey trim looks great as well. I pick it up Monday. I’ve already ordered the tailgate damper (which arrives on Friday) so I won’t suffer the indignity of a slamming tailgate.

Thanks to the folks here for all the great information.

I wasn’t able to get the truck with FX4 so I also have the FORscan adapter and TM button on order and I’ll be picking up some skid plates as well. I’m definitely looking forward to you all spending tons of my money in the next months as I browse the build threads.

Wow, well I just woke up and must say I’m a bit speechless. I think I rescinded my self appointment to damper king earlier. I’m no engineer, but I think we’re definitely getting into the territory of dampers with external hydraulic pumps, heavy duty flow controls, upgraded piston seals, sturdy rod glands, and shaft diameters over 2”. I’m just a millwright and this damper is in need of an actual engineer. Maybe @P. A. Schilke can shed some light on the subject?

That does look beautiful with the black out. Too bad Ford still wont make that lower valance the same color as the rest of the bumper.

Welcome - first I’ve heard of a Jungle Edition.

I still don't know what the means.
It's like another poster who has a Ranger with the color Avalanche but it's a Snow edition.

Nope, that‘s the one missing piece I can‘t easily add. Maybe an air locker at some point down the line if I need it…
