Looking for recommendations near Branson, MO

I'll be traveling to Branson, MO later this week, and I am curious if there are any decent off road trails or scenic drives that are close by and worth exploring?

I've haven't offroaded in this area, but the maps show some trails in the forest to the west, north, and east of Branson. Might be worth downloading something and using the trial period on your trip.
