Needs a little 303. ?Insurance will get set up tomorrow so when I got her home tonight she went straight into the garage so I wasn't tempted to drive it more.

I'll get some more here in the next few days.
Still researching and waiting to hear from our resident paint and body man @AdamHarrisNeeds a little 303. ?
That’s what I know but have not found any 100 % sure confirmation for that.Could be a Mig's hanger bay!!!
Sounds a bit too much like “snaking a drain”. I’m out. ?
cool thing! do you leave it with its hard-earned patina? or is this already copied?Insurance will get set up tomorrow so when I got her home tonight she went straight into the garage so I wasn't tempted to drive it more.

Patina is mostly real, with a bit added for matching and will likely stay. Unless I get real good at body work and real bored. Truck is frame swapped with 350, IFS, PS, PB, it will never have the value to justify a pretty paint job that I didn't do the majority of the work on.cool thing! do you leave it with its hard-earned patina? or is this already copied?
What about matte finish clear coat?Patina is mostly real, with a bit added for matching and will likely stay. Unless I get real good at body work and real bored. Researching options to seal it up, boiled linseed oil and Flood Penetrol seem to be the top choices now. Clear coating seems like a bad idea.
it doesn't matter what texture you go with. You are putting paint over rust that isn't meant to used to cover rust. it does the bubble and peel in no time and your $$$ and time goes down the?.What about matte finish clear coat?

Yeah, from everything I'm reading an actual clear coat will eventually yellow, cloud, and or peel.it doesn't matter what texture you go with. You are putting paint over rust that isn't meant to used to cover rust. it does the bubble and peel in no time and your $$$ and time goes down the?.
@D Fresh personally I'm a fan of Danish oil. but plan to do at least a coat of either kind of oil every year to keep it looking good
