Just found it, the 900XS. Can't say I would go with an HID myself, but won't argue the potential they bring when in the right housing. That said there is more than HID.
Right, but it's hard to justify the limited performance of halogens.

Ok they had me till I noticed this...

First screen shot is them talking about cheap LEDs and reflectors lights, you get lots of unfocused light.

Second screen shot is them talking about expensive TIR lights, you get more focus and minimal unfocused light.

Ok...

I really like DD's stuff, but I can't ignore this. I'm not trying to call a company out.... but I am calling a company out. What kind of shenanigan's is this?

@Wes Siler what is your take?

Yeah, they should have listed the type of lens (optic) they had in that shot. It looked like their driving optic in the before shot. So it's going to have some bleed over.

Remember, diode dynamics does not produce any lights designed to be used as primary driving lights. Just aux pods and flood lights. Their primary business is selling angry eyes and other vanity lighting products. Beam patterns are fairly irrelevant to those use cases.

Huh? They actually have a pair of headlights they sell for Jeep and F-150s. Pretty sure their beam patterns mater. Yeah, they started out making LEDs for accent lighting and whatnot in 2006. Then they grew and expanded their product line. Kinda like how Lightforce started out with a dentist making his spot lights to use on his property in the 80s. Then made spotlights to be used on vehicles.

Driving lights doesn't mean street legal. Well, at least here in the US. Australia has a different set of rules. I know each sell "driving lights" or pattern optics. But, in one country your driving faster trying to avoid kangaroos out in the middle of nowhere. Here in the US we gotta worry about angry Karens and Kens.

I'm not trying to start a internet fight or whatever. I just wanted to point out the reason why I think there was some light spill in that video clip.

I think what I'm saying is they don't make. Single 6 or 9 inch driving light, designed to be mounted in pairs as a total solution.

Little pod lights make great area lights for reversing, tight corners or whatever, but they cannot be considered any sort of solution for forward facing illumination.

But hey, angry eyes do look mean.

They don't make them yet. Wait until their SS6 or SS9 pod lights come out. ?.

Yeah I kinda agree.
