I have a 22 Lariat with the LED Headlight Delete (Downgrade) so I have Halo's installed now, so basically, it's a XLT to Lariat swap for me
Just got the Lariat LED's and will be installing next week.

The ForScan changes needed are not clear, going through the post's

If I change it via (Hex Code) i make 3 changes but the easy way there is only 2. So, looking for what works without issues

Copied from the Posts:

Easy Way:

I upgraded the xlt to lariat lights. In forscan it’s not allowing me to set DRL to dedicated LED. What do I need to change specifically for it to work correctly?

Update: I changed “Allowed DRL options” to “+ Dedicated DRL” and “DRL configuration” to “Dedicated DRL” and that did it for me.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hex Code Way:

Try these instead of above. This has worked (so far) to make my lights work without all the BCM issues that this configuration has been causing. Try this out.

726-26-02 needs the * number to be a 1 for factory LED xxxx xxx* xxxx

726-45-01 * numbers changed to 1000 to enable DRL xxxx **** xxxx

726-50-01 change the only 4 numbers to 108E which chooses the dedicated DRL

Thanks

Edit: I've deduced that the confusing part is whether you are installing Aftermarket or Factory LED.

and also deduced the Easy Method changes: These 2 Lines of Code

726-45-01 * numbers changed to 1000 to enable DRL xxxx **** xxxx

726-50-01 change the only 4 numbers to 108E which chooses the dedicated DRL

And I need to Manually check to ensure or change this line in (AS Built)

726-26-02 needs the * number to be a 1 for factory LED xxxx xxx* xxxx

Is this correct?

Thanks

Ok, I think I have it figured out, by using another post of someone's (As Built) file and compared to mine the 108E, refers to the change (1000) and the line checksum
It helps a great deal when you have a Comparision Chart to actually see the difference in the code settings

Note: Mine is a 22 Lariat and Other Comparision is a 19 Lariat
So, for others that do the swap, this may help you, granted I have not actually done my swap as of now, just prepping for the settings

My Current:

Lariat with the LED Delete (Halogen XLT) Headlight Downgrade from Factory
IDK if these are the same settings that a XL or XLT Owner would see and are planning on upgrading to Lariat Headlight Assemblies or not, on their AS Built Data Sheet. I essentially have XLT Headlights from factory even though I have a Lariat

BCM
726-26-02 -- 0000-000(2)-0057
726-45-01 -- 0A01-(0200)-0080
726-50-01 -- (0280)

Needs Changed: To -- 2019 Lariat with Factory LED Installed (Comparison Settings)
BCM
726-26-02 --0000-000(1)-0056 ------- (0057 checksum will change automatically to 0056)
726-45-01 -- 0A01-(1000)-008E -------- (0080 checksum will change automatically to 008E)
726-50-01 -- (108E) ------------------ (Referencing Line Code & Checksum from above)

NOTE: The (x) in bracket code is what you change

If these settings are correct, can they be added to the ForScan Settings Page, making it easier to find, I don't know if I'm allowed to edit that list

Thanks
