anyone elses grill missing all of the brackets that get screwed in the truck?

There are only 6 Brackets on the knockoff grilles. 2 that fit on top and are attached with bolts, and 2 on the bottom and 2 on the sides that press in.

I got all six of mine. Two for the top, two for the bottom, and one for each side. They and their screws were packaged separately from the bag of letters. If your grille is missing them, and you got it from Connecticut Joe Micali, give him a call; he may be able to send them to you.

nothing worse then getting everything off and ready to install, just to find missing parts. now back together just to pull it all apart again. feeling mildly annoyed.

Hi Manny, Thanks for reaching out! This kit was designed to work with the stock grille, and uses the existing mounting posts to attach to. It will still fit to those mounting posts, but I cannot guarantee that there is not a portion on whichever grille you are running that will interfere with them. In custom auto works install video they do mention working on a kit that will fork with the Factory Ford Ranger Raptor grille, but cannot confirm that this kit will work with that grille yet. the paint code for the grey trim is called magnetic J7? sounds like a weird paint code. tried a shop today and they refused to paint it because it "didn't come from my car". I started laughing

Magnetic J7 is the correct code but the shop I went to had a hand full of paint chips with each one slightly different. I took my truck to them for a perfect match.

any recommendations to fix a cracked grill? paint shop noticed a 3" crack on the corner during prep. Between missing parts, going to 4 shops before finding one that was willing to paint it. And not a crack. I'm so fed up with this grill its one big head ache after another. I'm temped to super glue the crack together and see if they are willing to paint it as it with no warranty on it. Not sure when the crack happened so I don't feel good sending it back since it could have been me and more $ for shipping.

Fiberglass from the back of the cracked area and then body filler on the front. Should look like new after paint!
