Dude launched 5 seconds before me and I wasn't in sport mode. He was baaarrrrely pulling away. 😆 Like barely going faster than me.

Also, my max speed is 110. 👎 So is his. Lol

Probably a good thing because idk what the speed rating of my tires is. Lol

Anyone know how I can increase the max to 130? I have the Ford Tuner but I haven't seen a setting for that.

I win against Raptors.

Find a cliff with a loooooong drop.....
It will take between 1500 and 2500 feet, depending on the aerodynamics of your Ranger to hit 130 mph......
Drive off cliff and let us know how long and at what foot marker you hit 130 mph.......
This way you won't hurt anyone else with your street racing........
Easy Peasy !!!

Correct. Terminal velocity will get you that coveted 130 mph.

Im sure you are both professional drivers and did this somewhere others were not in danger, because if not , and you did this on everybodys highway, then your just professional assholes...

I have the livernois tune and it tunes out the speed limiter.

I've gotten my truck to 130 and it's not something I'll ever do again. Stock suspension and brakes aren't made for it. It got there quicker then what I expected but the brakes and steering were pretty much useless at that speed.

I have to agree with you. The few times I've run mine to 110, you get there quick, but getting slowed back down is sketchy to say the least. The most I usually will run it to 90 to 100 from a 50 punch, just to blow the suit out of it, as Dad would say. Just my two cents, good info BTW.👍

Dear everyone that read this,

I was wrong. I ended up seeing the guy again when I was in my work van; he drove past me again. Lol

Idk I was thinking it was a Runner. I forgot the name, I guess.

It wasn't a Runner, it was an RHO.

Actually, I am a professional driver. I have a technical degree in professional driving. But the part of road that we were on is always empty and has barricades on both sides of the road.

Well we were going in a straight line so it's fine.

Bro.. Im not condemning you. Lol... I don't care. I've done my fair share of "fun" on the streets. Was just sharing my experience.

BTW... I have a 2wd with the black out package. It came with H rated Bridgestone duelers. Which is rated up to 130mph. I'm not sure what the hankooks are rated at.

DOES NOT MATTER !!!!! There is no excuse you can make up to justify street racing.
Years past, when I wore a "brown gown" I got all warm and tingly inside when I ran across someone racing. Good for at least 5-6 citations, one of which was reckless driving which was an automatic arrest/go to jail, vehicle impounded/towed, and when found guilty, automatic license suspension.
Oh, I loved you all so much !!!!!!!
And, I must ask.....what is a "professional driver" ??? Do you drive for a living??? And, what is a "technical degree" in driving ??? A degree from a tech school for heavy rigs ???
In either case, if true, than you should know better than to expose, even yourself, to reckless actions....
It's like playing Russian Roulette, but saying it is OK cause your a professional gambler.......
