Not my cup of tea either - I think it is really ugly - but the commercial was pretty cool. I'm surprised someone didn't complain they crushed an old Jeep! Not my cup of tea, I personally think the dimensions look off, but the Jeep faithful will eat this thing up.
it's still a Chrysler product. They will all end up there eventually. Not my cup of tea either - I think it is really ugly - but the commercial was pretty cool. I'm surprised someone didn't complain they crushed an old Jeep!
Neither does Consumer Reports. Their reliability data consistently shows them near the bottom of the barrel. If you thought the Ranger, Colorado or Tacoma were spendy wait for the prices on this thing! Jeeps are cool, but I have little faith for long term dependability in Fiat Chrysler products.
CR's reliability data comes from owner's via their annual automotive survey.So... That's one vote for the Gladiator??
Here is information on how Consumer Reports compiles the data returned from auto owners on the annual survey:Sure... OK! They're on the up and up!
I do understand CR's ostensible methodology, and I accept that you can of course believe what you choose. Here is information on how Consumer Reports compiles the data returned from auto owners on the annual survey:

Is it the car owner's that you believe are reporting false/inaccurate information or do you believe CR is compiling the owner provided data in a fraudulent manner?
$35k base compared to $24k base for Tacoma/Rangerthat gladiator is so long I don't see how you can park it in a parking garage. It looks ridiculous and disproportioned. I'm estimating it will be ~$5k more than the equivalent ranger.
