Tonight in addition to some super fun brake issues I've been having for years, I was greeted in my rear view mirror by a gigantic cloud of white smoke. Naturally, I thought my brakes were on fire, so I pull over to check them, nope, they were normal. I then realized that I had some residual white smoke coming out of my exhaust that smelled sweet.
So great, head gasket right? Well not so fast. The truck ran and drove perfectly, no more smoke, after the initial acceleration, and never again for the 5 mile trip home. It behaved like it normally did, no issues at all.
I check the oil, I seem to have a little more than I should, but it's perfectly honey colored (I just changed it like 500 miles ago), no milkshake, nothing.
So is it something with the turbo? I wish this truck would just disappear honestly.
Have a good night, and if you're feeling down, remember, you could be me.
