Is Elon Musk absolutely brilliant or totally loopy?

Personally, I am bought in to his madness or brilliance. Think about what he is doing... EVERYTHING can be tied to his goal of becoming the real Victor Cohaagen on Mars.

• Spacex: Obvious tie to Mars
• Tesla: Vehicles that will work on the planet
• Boring Company: Dig tunnels to travel through when we live underground
• Hyperloop: High speed travel in the tunnels to the Pyramids or Venusville ?
• Neuralink: Implants in the brain to control humans during the flight to and while living in a difficult environment
• Starlink: Seamless communication & Mars WiFi
• SolarCity: Obviously to power everything

So brilliant or nuts??

I think a lot of his plans come about by something like this:

Musk: In this field, on a scale of 1-10, what's possible?
Experts: Well, in theory a 10 should be possible, but real world limitations keep us to a max of 9. Keep in mind that nobody else has achieved better that an 8 in isolated instances, and sustaining a 7 is pretty darn impressive.
Musk: Great! We're going to do 15.
*proceeds to accomplish 12*
Fanboys: See! He did what he said he would do!
Critics: He's an absolute failure because he fell short of his goal.

He's intelligent, arrogant and he has the cajones. He knows modern social media and he pushes the envelope. I don't particularly like the dude but I'd like to see him continue to win. A weaker individual would have flamed out by now.
