Anyone know where to find or what color wire Ford uses for interior lighting? Im just trying to light up the switch display (LED) on lightforce switches. I dont want to start yanking and poking wires to find one. I hope someone has found a good suitable wire already. Thank You!

I can’t actually answer your question, but there’s a really good chance that your wire doesn’t exist because everything is controlled by canbus. You may have to go out and tap into your actual headlight...might require some creativity.

Yeah, I know the BCM controls so much of this now. I can tap into my running lights and use a relay. I was hoping I could find a local wire(in the dash) that worked with the interior dash lighting. SO the display lights in the switch would work with it. Im not sure that made sense, my typing is horrible.

If I understand you correctly, you just want to tap into an ignition on wire? (On when Ignition key is On or switch to Accessory,
and Off when engine is off)
There is a few spare fuse under the dash fuse box.
Its #22 and #29 iirc.

#22 is only 5amps and uses a micro3 fuse tap.
I used it as my Ignition on/ run switch for my auxiliary switch panel.

Wow, thank you for the detailed reply, I appreciate it very much.
What Im looking for is a interior lighting wire, like when you turn on your parking lights the interior lights also come on. The Led display on my switches dont register an amp draw which means its so low I dont need to worry about where I tap into. I was hoping someone already found one when installing a stereo or some ambient lighting. I just dont want to unplug and test and poke around until I find one. I can just tap a signal of the running/parking lights, but it would be nice to use the dimmer with the stock dash lighting.

Found this on a thread for Lightforce Fascia and switches. I had the same question as you. "Connect to Fuse #35 via Add-a-Fuse tap. This provides power to the switch (including backlight) once truck's ignition is turned on."
