Installed ditch lights over the weekend. I don't plan on installing any more lights, so am not bothering with a switch panel, but didn't like the idea of having the switch down by my knee on the fuse panel.

There is just enough space to install on the steering column panel, just behind the turn signal stalk.
A clean, accessible solution.

Nice job, and a good spot. I have so many wires coming thru the firewall (aux braking and vac line) that I didn't want more. So I bought a 4 ch remote control aux switch with 2X20A & 2X10A circuits. Small remote clips to my visor when I need it, normally lives in the glove box. Still have an account at a police supply site and got the switch for under $100. Works great for the few times I need it on my ditch, backup, and light bar. Been over a year and still working great. (first test light connected)
