Hey everyone, I’m new to this forum. I recently purchased a 23’ XLT Sport and I’m planning to level it 2.5” with Stage 3 Performance’s BDS Kit. Once it’s been leveled I wanted to throw some 17x9.5 with a +18 to +12mm offset wheels on but I need to know what the ideal backspacing would be to get zero scrubbing whatsoever. Would like to mount 275/70’s or even 285/70’s. Current wheels I’m looking at have a 5 inch backspacing. Anything helps, thanks in advanced.

From my understanding, a +25 to +30 backspacing is ideal for scrub radius and clearance.

Here is mine with 285/70/17 tires. Wheels are 17x9 with +1 offset and 5” backspacing. Just got it all installed yesterday. Crash bars had to be cut out.

If you want to avoid the scrubbing you need to keep the factory offset.
