Yes, that’s the color, close to red, not so orange. Pops out and plays with light.
No graphics on mine.
Black and code orange create very beautiful combination together and you can see that in real better than on pictures
I can imagine it with no graphics. Would be equally spectacular. I love the orangeness of it, with the black accents. Sure hope you get it.

I just discovered I actually do already have my Raptor. A friend gifted me 2019 Ranger Raptor while ago and it happens to be also similar color. He didn’t plan to go with red/orange but poor availability made a decision for him.

You'd still be buying a Ford technically lol.

https://www.motortrend.com/news/ford-make-next-gen-vw-amarok-part-global-alliance/

Unless VW builds them in Chattanooga (which is feasible) not gonna happen due to the "chicken Tax". Beside VW is more concerned with Electric now.
Exactly, but I would likely prefer the design of the VW of over the 6G Ranger. Can't be sure until I see what they may bring to the market later. I happen to like my Fords, but I prefer new Fords (1980 and later) that were designed outside the US, Europe mostly. If later in the 6G Ranger production VW released a better-looking, and still made by Ford, Ford midsize truck, I would be very likely to go that direction.

That thing looks like a Maverick front end. Didn't take long for Ford to destroy the 5g unique look. Maybe they should rename it the F150 sport or Maverick Big Bend.
Interesting that you should say that. When the 6G was designed over here allegedly the bosses in Detroit said that this time, because it would be sold in the US from the outset, we must make it look more like the rest of the Ford truck line.
Apparently they didn't care so much about the 5G because it was "only" going to be sold to the rest of the world, apart from North America! No reason was ever given for this but we assumed it was because would steal too many sales from the F150, now the Ranger was a similar size to the old F150's from the 80' and 90's which were so popular.
Even the 5G Ranger got progressively more F150ish with each of the three facelifts it received since release here in 2011.

Still nice truck Kristina, I'm envious of you, you're gonna love that twin turbo V6, over here they have a few more ponies that the Euro model, as we generally follow the previous Euro emission class. Ever journo to drive one just raves about it.

Ford F-series trucks are officially not at sale here but I notice them quite often. I guess there are not so many of them but they happen to be with me at the same time at same place maybe.
I admit I love the look of 5G more than 6G but we can’t make choices only by how things look, I take into account practical side and comfort and … now I have to admit - a little, how shiny they are:blush:

We have also 2.0 diesel Raptor available for order, but I decided to go with gasoline this time for sure.
I didn’t even think about it until discovered it’s with belt not timing chain.

Yes an engine running a rubber belt( two in fact, oil pump is belt too) in hot dirty diesel oil, changed every 15,000 Km, what could possibly go wrong? Turned me off the 2.0 Bi turbo too despite it's impressive power output.

F-series are no longer officially sold here either as Ford stopped building them locally 30 years ago, and stopped making RHD versions overseas back in the mid 2000's.
But they are available for a price as there are a number of 2nd tier manufacturers over here who import new trucks and convert them to RHD.

This Video has a pretty good Amarok vs. Ranger comparison from Oz.
Somewhat ironically the Ecoboost 4 which is standard in the US Ranger isn't available here as even an option, (2.0 Biturbo diesel, 3.0 V6 diesel, or 3.0 Ecoboost V6 bi turbo petrol - Raptor only) yet it will be optional in the Vdub version. Go figure?

Ironic for sure. I've been pleased with the 2.3 in my 5G, although I bet I'd be happy with the Biturbo 2.0 too.

The BiTurbo 2.0 is a new design

The BiTurbo 2.0 diesel is an all new design with 2x twin scroll turbo units, a unitized cylinder head with intake and exhaust manifolds built in, compacted graphite block, off set crankshaft, etc etc.
It manages to extract an incredible 157 Kw (210 Hp) out of a 2.0 litre diesel, there is a lot to like about it, but the thing I don't like is it runs wet rubber timing and oil pump drive belts. Also the long term durability is obviously not yet known.

I'll stick to my 3.2 i5 diesel it turns out slightly less power and torque than the 2.0 but does so in a far more leisurely manner. It's just like driving an old 70's 5 litre V8. They've been around for a long time in Transit light trucks in Europe, and the 4 cylinder 2.2 version was used in Land Rovers and London taxis.

Got her back today from KROWN.
She looks so good after the bath they gave her. Finally someone else had to wash her, yay! :whew:
