Meanwhile I got this from an electrical engineer co-worker. If I don't hear anything else in the next day or two, I'll take matters into my own hands by swapping the corresponding pins in the Redtek harness.

That looks like a handy wire diagram, I would keep that handy.

Installed today. Super easy and works as advertised.
Only one issue that JB Weld should fix. Top clip on the handle cover would not unass its clip so it broke.
Best bang for the buck mode yet. Well right after the key bezel ring thing. Lol

Broke mine as well. I just stick it back in there and closed everything up.

I used JB Weld epoxy and let the piece cure in place. Then I filled the whole inner area with more epoxy by standing the cover on its end so the epoxy would not run out while curing.
I’m certain it won’t break in the same area again.
Certainly overkill but it’s fixed. Lol

Update to my backwards driver's window controls. Redtek's tech guy emailed me asking if I wanted a new harness. I said yes, but decided to attempt to fix it myself anyway. I swapped the two wires on their harness that correspond to Ford's blue/grey and yellow/violet. It worked like a charm. I also learned that they have to rework the harness for us LHD Yankees. That's probably where it got messed up. So I'm all good now.

EDIT: Maybe I spoke too soon. I noticed the window lock feature on the driver's door doesn't work. The rear door window switches still function regardless of the window lock status. It's no big deal, but can anyone check their operation for me? TIA.

I have not tried the window lock feature. I will see if mine works. Glad it is working otherwise.

I agree, this is something Ford should have done to the Ranger.
