I have a VIN. Now what?

I’m hoping someone can give me some guidance on order tracking. I ordered my Ranger on 5/24/19. I have had a VIN (79722) for a couple of weeks now. Others are talking about being able to see window stickers and build dates but all I can seem to get out of the Ford tracking site is that my truck is in order processing and the projected dealer delivery date is 9/1/19. Am I missing something or is this par for the course?

Ive been waiting 8 week 4 days and counting and I still cant see my window sticker (been checking for weeks) and my truck wont be built till July 11 so I've been told. The only thing i can think of is its based on model and options on how soon or late these trucks are built.

Nothings changed on my VIN search either.. Still Ordered April 23 and ETA Aug 4th. That will be 15 weeks, 3 months and 3 weeks if I’m correct .

If I remember correctly, the day the tracker switched to "In Production" was the same time the window sticker became available. You should get a link to the sticker from the tracker too. It's the same sticker but it'll be a different link than what I gave you above.

Think you are right on that dmeyer. If I remember correctly as well that was around the time I got my window sticker update link too.

Seems like the tracker page would update some things throughout the day but update the date countdown at 8 pm EST. The window sticker page updates at 9 pm EST - for when you get the link. That should have your actual build day on it.

Don't get freaked out if the options listed for your vehicle change from day to day on the tracker website. It does that. For instance if you ordered a locking rear diff one day it would list as locking, a few days later it might say open diff.

Patience is key. Easier said than done, I know. About the time I would think nothing is happening and wonder if I should get someone on here to check up on my order. Then it would update.

Where you notified when the window sticker was available, or just had to keep looking?

No notifications. Just good old fashioned checking it every 2 hrs

As many times as you (any of us) most likely are going to look at the tracking page over the coming weeks. You should immediately notice when something on it has changed and updated!

In my case I ordered April 12, I was told my build week on May 2nd, and I then got my vin on 5-31. The sticker became available on the 13th of June and its blend date was the 20th. It seemed as though other people on here got theirs faster than me, but mine was still on schedule.

Give it a day - the tracker seems to be rather unreliable in many respects. It will mostly like start working fine again.

My truck went into Production today and I was able to see the Window Sticker at the same time. Is there somewhere that breaks down and explains everything on the window sticker?
