Very nice...Posting an update on the progress of getting a custom strip made. I've been working with L&B Designworks. They've been great and very easy to work with. They have some really nice products for the Jeep world which really come close to what I wanted. Adapting the Mach 1 theme seemed pretty natural for them.
After a bit of back and forth and test fitting, here is what came of it. It's titled "Ford Ranger Mach 1 Inspired Hood Decal- 3 Layer Decal (3 Pieces)". The pieces are matte black, gloss black and orange.
I placed my order and will take plenty of pictures as I apply it.
The order form is here but you may want to wait until I've applied mine to see how it comes out. I can imagine instead of orange, red would look good on a Tremor.
Find one in your attic after ripping $2K damage in your soffit/fascia/siding on you house, you may feel differently. Or a dirty, potentially rabid one facing off with your 13 year old dog in the yard.
I agree they are cute, and I don't lump them all together just the ones who ignore my signs and cross my moat. If I see them on the road, I brake. If I see them in the city, miles from my house, in movies, or as someone's pet, we get along fine. Come near my dogs or house, and it's on.

I think so too. Did you notice some of the Jeep decals have an overlay on the matte black part? I like that but I'll take it one step at a time.

Almost! I've gone through the process of having what I want created. L&B Designworks did the magic. The final product has been delivered but I haven't put them on the truck yet.
Thanks Dave! It was on your recommendation to find a shop to do the stripe. I struck out locally but found a good source on the Internet!
If you can color match the orange stripe to the inserts that would look incredibleMy first stab at modeling this. I used Gimp and it's far from proportional (had to stretch and skew a lot) but gives me some idea of what it might look like. The next step will be to make a paper version in full scale.
Color-wise, it's perfect even though it came from a mustang. Any thoughts?
That was the goal. We'll see how close it is when I get it on the hood.
