I guess miracles do happen. This is the first video from Scotty Kilmer I was able to watch all the way through and it was very informative. He compares the Lightning to the Cybertruck and believe it or not he didn't even bash Ford.

I guess the ones I attempted to watch in the past always seemed like he was bashing Ford. I will admit though I've never made it through a full video until this one. Now if he would make more like this and not be so off the wall I'd probably watch more of them. Anyway it was a really good video comparing the two newest EV trucks.

That's good to know as I like watching these and it was a really good comparison and non bias, not like some other Youtubers. I get why his other ones are a little "off the wall" because it attracts some people and they think it's funny. I think my biggest peeve is his titles are usually click bait.

I'm usually a function over form guy. But that thing is hideous. Looks like it was drawn by my 4 year old nephew.

There's no way I'd drive one, even if I could afford one.

I've always been into traditional looking vehicles, but my taste seems to be changing.

CyberTruk and the Hummer EV too.

Not speaking to overall performance or function, just cosmetics and simple performance of feeling like being strapped to a rocket off the line. The fun of EV acceleration is beyond words.

Performance EVs definitely intrigue me.

But between their costs and styling I'll be waiting a while.

Some people don't like Cybertruck design. fine,
But we have to agree, not having paint on a vehicle is frigging genius.

I swear the paint chips on my 2019 ranger every time a bug hits it.

Due to various factors, new vehicle paint is extremely thin and weak. It's been estimated paint accounts for nearly 1/3 of new vehicle cost.

I'd much rather a vehicle with no paint then wrap it in any color or design I choose.

Don't for get the launch of the explorer. That was almost as bad as the Bronco. At least the Bronco gets a partial pass from Covid, not excuse with the hard top fiasco though.
