Jeep (FCA) is already spinning this to say that it didn't happen when they tested it.

As the owner of a Jeep Rubicon and before that a Toyota Landcruiser since 1978 I would agree with you but.... There are a lot of Jeep Wranglers sold that are used only to go to the mall and back.

Folks on this site sure like to beat up on Wranglers?

We've got a '07 Wrangler 2 door that we bought new. It's been a great vehicle, no major issues.

It is what it is advertised to be. And if you've done your research, and understand that, what more could a person ask for?

It's definitely a fun vehicle and very capable off road, yet it's great for road trips too. Being able to go "topless", in a new 4x4... what's your other options?

Fixed that for you. :fistbump::thumbsup:

I had a YJ an it was a tank an rode like one too. Not very civilized but fun to beat on an it took everything. The new ones are more car like inside. the older ones wouldn't work well as an only vehicle.

A YJ... yeah that's pretty much 1950's technology.

When they did away with leaf springs and went to coils... the ride changed dramatically... Although it's never going to be a great ride with the solid front axle.

I bought a brand new 2017 Wrangler Big Bear.

Sold it after a year and a half.

Turned out I wasn't a Wrangler person.

the old man emu springs made the ol yj ride tolerable for short commutes. one help was running 28-30 psi in the tires. the thing about the leafs is you could do an axle flip an put some 1 ton axles under it an make a mini monster.
