Man I saw the thread title and thought "Thanksgiving"? We're only in October.

I thought you were drinking early again or I had fallen asleep for a month.🍾😜

I also thought, "Well, here's another holiday that's been dragged ahead," like Halloween regalia mixed in with the back to school supplies in August.

On January 31, 1957, the Governor General of Canada Vincent Masseyissued a proclamation stating: "A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed – to be observed on the second Monday in October."

Wishing all Canuks a Blessed Holiday from the Possum Lodge!

I have to agree with you Dave. The title through me for a loop, until I read what Chris had written. 🙂

Thanks for thinking of us. We have a similar Thanksgiving to the one our American neighbours will celebrate next month, except without all the football games.

Family, friends, turkey dinner, pumpkin pie, maybe a bit too much to drink, and a ton of memories.

Some of us are luckier than others and have friends or family in the U.S. and get to celebrate both holidays. :D

It was pretty cool to see this thread posted - thanks @Chris M .
