I have the DEEZEE and its mounted on the drivers side.
Does the Ford dampener mount on the passenger side? Incase you want/need two

They all mount of the drivers side. Besides if you had two the muscle atrophy would be so bad you'd never be able to raise your arms let alone the tailgate.

I like it because if my arms are full of groceries or whatever I can flick it with one finger. I've had other trucks where the tailgate cables snapped after a few years of use and road salt. Also I unplugged the wire for the tailgate lock.
