Anyone owning a 2020 having fuel in oil issues? Checked the oil a couple
of days ago and got a distinct gas smell. Could be my imagination or
overreaction to the posts on the forum. Comments?

Many threads on here about this already. So far it seems a limited issue and no one has lost a motor over it. ??‍♂

Yeah, there's a thread with about 90 pages talking about this. So far it seems like fuel in the oil is normal and won't cause engine problems. Many argue whether a catch can is a good idea or not. The general consensus I got from the thread was Ill trade it in around 50k miles to avoid catastrophic engine failure, I also concluded that I will never go above 5,000 miles without a full oil change. (Due to my worry of the fuel in oil)

I had the odor early on but for me it went away after the first oil change. I changed it at 3500 miles.

I changed oil & filter at 1,500/3,000/6,000 miles.

First change smelled like STRAIGHT gasoline. Every change thereafter was NOT as noticeable, becoming more and more faint.

The oil LEVEL however, is still reading ridiculously high.

Yep huge thread about this. I'm 2300 miles into my 2020, oil level has gone up since driving it off the lot and oil smells like straight fuel. Have ford points so will go to service dept for first few oil changes, first at 3000, just to make sure it gets documented and hopefully they can take readings for dilution or I can ship it to blackstone. I know my dealer's service guys are on this forum so hopefully they are aware and it gets documented to Ford.

As an edit: the owners manual does say oil consumption reaches it's normal level after it's first 3k miles, so I'm hopefully after my first oil change things go back to normal as other people have mentioned
