Hey there,

I’m looking for any information someone might have on the possibility of changing out the front differentials internals to a limited slip design similar to the torsion diff found in the F150 Raptors.

I would think it’s possible to change the internals out but finding what would match up is the harder part.

Any info is welcome!

Subbed, been thinking about the same thing!
Had a front and rear LS on my Bronco II. No situation stopped me. I want to get a LS for the rear, and maybe front, of my new Ranger. Any suggestions?

It will cost a little bit but to my understanding ARB already has both a front and rear Locker available for the Rangers. When I go to do mine I'm going to add onboard Air at the same time and it's probably going to cost me between $2,500 to $3,000.

I’m in the process of installing a Viair automatic deployment compressor now. If I can find some info on the ARB locker I’d be all for it.
I’ve attached a picture of where my rear access to air up tires will be.

What is that plastic cap? I need a couple of those pretty badly.

I’ve been wanting to install onboard air, just trying to figure out where to mount it. It’s tight under the hood, and I’m concerned about road debris/dust under the body. Have you guys found a good spot for the compressor?

My tank and compressor are going above the spare tire. Only place with enough room to fit and work on it. My compressor has a remote air filter that I’ll be mounting up high in the bed cavity somewhere and the compressor is IP67 rated so it’s good to go in the water.

Please post some updates when you start working on this, I’m sure a bunch of other people would be interested too!

Okay air compressor is installed and running like a dream. Really happy with how this worked out. I’ll have to make a more detailed post later with how it all went.

Plenty of clearance in this area and would be nice if a machine shop could make some custom brackets for everyone else to utilize this space.

I installed the air filter inside the bed area to keep it clean and allow for easy change out.

Yes it’s accessible from the rear as it usually is. I dropped the tire to work on all this. The view you see is looking from the rear differential to the bumper. So the winch and funnel point are behind all of this.
