I got it working. Changed a few settings and now my speed is limited to 80? What’s that about?

you apparently turned on mykey. That has to be turned off with the master key. I’m not aware of a way to turn on or off the mykey with forscan though.

Is there a way to reset everything back to factory? I keep trying to set my save file but it doesn’t reset anything. For example the auto start stop function refuses to turn back on.

You have to restore your save file and then write it back. I’ve done it successfully several times. Select the module you want to reset and browse to your abt file.
Some modules need to reboot before the changes take effect. Most notably is the apim and ipc.

I know its kind of a 1st world problem and all, but them chimes would irk me every time....

I have to admit I was a bit skeered to edit the As-Built, especially after the checksum error got thrown, but dang if it didn't take right away and now my mornings can proceed peacefully, at least until the coffee kicks in.

Let’s post here useful FORScan modifications for the 2019+ Ranger

In case you forget what the original setting was... Lookup Module Build Data (As-built) by VIN: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

As of 5/11/2019 Much of this (not all) is built into FORScan as "Service Procedures". You should no longer have to manually edit the as-built data as there should be easy to use menu options available.

2020 Ranger XLT here and having an issue with the speed limit signs displaying.

I only have the IPC module available with the misc. traffic settings to enable.

I do NOT have the IPMA module available. My truck does have lane assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, parking sensors.

Any ideas?

edit: weird. I disconnected and reconnected and now it shows up.

Which gear indicator? If you mean the 1-10 in the dash, just push + or - on the gear shift once you're in drive.

Yeah I don’t really want to do that every time I drive the truck, I don’t feel you should have to anyway.

I just added turning off the engine sound enhancement to my Forscan mod list. Now I'd like to see an option to leave the gears displayed all the time.
