FordPass Siri Shortcuts

I received an email from Apple this Morning to update to 8.4 and it would fix the issue. Apple went above and beyond checking this out and collecting data from my watch. Cody was the tech support and called me back three times requesting data and such, so I gotta give him credit.

Some geniuses over on reddit have figured out how to get Siri Shortcuts working with the FordPass app so you can tell Siri to start your truck, stop it, unlock it, lock it, check the fuel, oil etc. Ive installed the shortcuts and tested them all out on my device and they are working perfectly.

If any of you don't know what this does or means, it means you can control your truck by voice and don't need to open the FordPass app to to do any of the above mentioned commands. Something I've been waiting a loooooooong time for that Ford will likely never bring us.

On your phone, you need to go to settings>shortcuts> toggle "allow untrusted shortcuts" on.

Also, I had to change the wording from "Car" to "Truck" on each shortcut because Siri wouldn't run the command using "car"

Shortcut to activate the dampner?!?

it activates when you press the button on the tailgate and lift it or the key twice. but it would have been ok to open it from voice commands as you unlock the car

OK I finally got around to setting this up but I'm having an issue that I can't find diddly about online.

My iPhone is running IOS 15.4.1 and this version does NOT contain a shortcut setting for "Allow Untrusted Shortcuts".

My shortcuts work but I get an Allow or Don't Allow prompt at every step of the shortcut which makes the shortcut pretty useless.

Anyone gotten around this Allow garbage?

I feel like I'm running Windows with User Account Control set to the max.

Edit: Never mind. Got it fixed.

Same here. Ford probably changed something on the back end again. Hopefully we'll get a new hack to make it work again.

Booo…. Mine stopped also. Fun while it lasted. I’ll bet it has something to do with the removal of features from the app.
