There is a pretty good documentary on Amazon prime video called the “ The Return”. It’s about Fords return to Le Mans for the 50th anniversary of the 1966 win.

There's another Amazon Prime movie on the original battle called "The 24 Hour War".

Thanks for the heads up on the Amazon Prime shows about this race. Don't have AP at the moment. Will pick it up when The Expanse series 4 comes online.

Where did you find it? My search on Amazon Prime only shows a poster

I just searched for "The Return". I had a harder time finding the 24 hour war. That was interesting, but I found "The Return" easier to watch.

I hadn't realized that Ford was trying to actually BUY Ferrari - I thought they were trying to do some kind of a joint venture. It also found it interesting that Enzo Ferrari really didn't want to MAKE cars to sell to people - he only made enough cars to sell in order to finance his racing habit. Apparently he died without a lot of money to his name - he spent it ALL on racing.

I had no idea that Henry Ford actually won a car race that allowed him to get funding for the whole business! Don't recall hearing that from other documentaries.
