Ford retractable hard tonneau cover

I’m new to the forum and rangers. I picked up my ‘19 Ranger Lariat supercrew yesterday.

Hopefully you guys can help me with a question. It came with a ford brand retracting hard tonneau cover. I asked the sales man if he had a manual or specifications on it. Specifically if it will hold any weight on top of it. Truthfully I have no desire to put a load on it but I’d like to know it’s capabilities. Do any of you guys have a digital manual or pamphlet on one? Or know it’s limitations or capabilities?

Congrats on your new Ranger!

It would be helpful to have a picture of the Tonneau cover...I am thinking it is a Bak MX4, but a picture would help us id the manufacturer and from there you can view their website and likely get a manual...

I will take a couple pictures of it in a little bit. As far as I know it’s a ford cover. Are they known to rebrand other manufacturers? I’ll post pictures shortly. thanks again.

Many Accessories are just rebranded parts from other suppliers. I went with a Bak MX4 as it was over $200 cheaper...Just under $1,000 vs Ford branded for $1,299 or so
