It’s a really nice improvement all around. Better power, better shifting

I was thinking about this, but I may wait awhile. Pretty happy with the stock tune and power running 93 octane at the moment,
Thank you! I've been watching daily. When you actually put it in the shopping cart it still shows for 2019-2020. I chatted with the tech line and they confirmed it is validated for 2021. It's on its way!
Next trick, anyone know of a Houston area dealership competent in installing these?

If you can send an email you can flash your truck and any tech should have no issues. I flashed mine and the dealer had zero issue with me doing it and will warranty it as its a Ford item.

Has anyone successfully flashed a 2021? Mine won’t read the ECU. Talked to the tech at Ford Performance and sent screen shots. He forwarded it on to the engineers. Just curious if anyone else is having issues.

Yesterday I was getting error saving current config... Todays update(I think 36) to the ProCal unit and now it worked great on my 2021.

Excellent, did you just ask the service / parts department when you picked up the tune?

Rangers are tuned for 87, so putting 93 is costing you unnecessary money for realistically no gains, which can actually effect timing, and afr a bit in a negative way.

So to get the benefit of 93, you'll need this tune.

$825? That's a lot of money for a bunch of 1's and 0's!

I paid $640 out the door for the tune through Levittown. Installed it yesterday. I agree that is a lot of money for 1's and 0's but I still believe it is the best bang for the buck mod for our Rangers.
