I just installed one. Took me about 15 minutes all together. The lower connector is easier to get from underneath. I just reached up with a long screwdriver, put it in the gap and twisted. The orange clip shattered and I pulled the hose right off. Ezpz.

In the gap? In between the black And orange?
Anyway you can take a picture on where you did it?

How did you get the top one off?

The top one I used two flat screwdrivers, one on either side of the connector between it and the valve cover and twisted. It forced the connector up and broke the locking tabs on the orange ring.

For the bottom, yeah I put a screwdriver between the orange ring and the black elbow and twisted the screwdriver. I removed the top one first so I could spin the hose to where I wanted it because I wanted to put the screwdriver at the spot where only the orange clip was present and the outer black plastic was not. That way the clip had somewhere to go.

Ok, got it installed, it wasn’t that hard at all, I was just nervous because I have never messed with those type of connections
Should I check it every 1000 miles?
I know with summer getting close probably won’t have much in it, if any
Probably in the colder months check it more often?
