Took my 19 Ranger to the dealer today.
The passenger side floor heater throws
out three times the heat compared to
the drivers side.
Was told couldn't do anything. That it is
the same with all Rangers.
Colorado winters makes it a big deal for me.
Anyone else noticed the difference?"

Yeah, drivers side heat sucks. There is a thread on this topic somewhere here where guys tried modding vents, etc. I just crank it up until it's warm

Yup, its about as effective as an asthmatic 12 year old.

Super sucks, but "working as designed."

I've got the same. If I put my hand by the driver side floor went I feel very little air flow compared to the passenger side. Seems to be a common /universal problem. For what it's worth my 2013 Ford Escape had the same problem. Not sure if it is simply a design issue or if other factors are involved that determine where air gets routed within the vehicle.

My observation is the same yours. Never had a Ford with such lackluster performance from the heater. Not enough to make me get rid of it but it is a minor annoyance. Same with the A/C very difficult to get the right combination. Hope the new model will address these issues
