So they are forecasting snow for us in North Alabama. First, pray because people here freak out. Second, I have just put Falken Wildpeaks AT4W tires on my 22 Ranger. I’ve really been impressed with them so far. Anyone know how good they handle the snow that gets it more than we do?
Little late but the AT4W have been great in the snow for me in Colorado. Pretty equivalent to the grabbers that came with the Tremor. Though those grabbers loved to fling rocks and were really squirrelly in the rain unlike the AT4W's.

Throw some weight in the back and get better tires. All seasons have a harder rubber compound that gets hard and slick in cold weather. Look for some all weather tires instead. They usually have a snow/ice rating to them. Visually they will have a snowflake molded into the sidewall.

January 2015 I picked up a new Mustang and took it directly to my son's shop to put dedicated winter tires on it. Winter 2015 turned out to be the worst winter for snow in recorded history for the Boston area. At the time the heater in my 99 Dakota 4x4 wasn't working for shit, because the Mustang with winters and snow driving mode was so good I just used the Mustang that winter.

Here's my Mustang wearing it's winter shoes.

Totally get the concept. But I would have teared up :crying: a bit about driving a new vehicle in the snow with all the damn chemicals they put on the roads.

nice looking car!

The car was purchased to be a daily driver, it cost about $15k less than the 21 Ranger Lariat Tremor that is now getting driven daily in the same conditions. I like to keep all my vehicles nice looking but I don't fret over a vehicle that was purchased to get me from A to B. I have two other collector vehicles that I won't drive when the roads are bad

I had a 1970 fastback Mustang with traction bars on it and that was the best car in the snow. I couldn't believe how great it was. We lived in a rural area and I had to go to work early and our area of the neighborhood depended on a private plow outfit. I've driven that car out pushing snow all the way. As long as I didn't get high centered it was golden. It wore Dedicated snow tires on the back. Man I miss that car.

Got about 5 inches of snow yesterday. Took the blue baby out on an errand. Roads weren’t plowed. I have zero complaints with the General Grabbers. Their snow performance is quite good.
