So i've been reading around on this forum a bit and have seen some item recommendations, and while I am not a HUGE detailer I do like to keep things at least tidy.

I was trying to think of a list of the "must have" items, and maybe specific recommendations for at least doing the very basics. So far here is what I have (and would love advice on)

Interior Cleaning - 303 Aerospace protectant (got the idea from here)
Bucket (obvious)
Microfiber cloths - Any specific brand?
Basic "Car wash" soap? - No idea here?
Sponge? - Just any sponge I guess?
Anything else I am missing?

As a sidenote: If such a "kit" exists with such basics on amazon or wherever let me know a decent one!

You're going to get all kinds of different opinions on this so here's mine.

Interior and any black plastic on the exterior: 303 Aerospace protectant.

Washing: I use a power washer and a foam cannon with snow foam soap from Chemical Guys. If your hand washing use a 2 bucket system with one for soap and one for rinsing and use a grit guard in both.

Wash Soap: When I was hand washing I used Trinova Car Shampoo and Conditioner.

Micro Fiber cloths: I have so many of these from all different place like Costco to 303 Gold Eagle.

Sponge: I use a microfiber mitt also from Gold Eagle but any good one will do.

Here's a link from one of my detail write ups but I've changed a few things since then. I'm now using Graphene and so far it's been working out great.
