Engine noise

I just got my Ranger back from the Ford dealership after having them check an engine noise. It a plastic buzzing sound that is heard while idling and speeds up with accelerating. When I take my foot off the gas it quiets. Sounds almost like a plastic fan is slightly rubbing against plastic. The Ford technician said it is a normal sound and compared it to another Ranger he drove from the lot. I love my truck but I hate this sound. I have included some audio for anyone to hear so I don’t feel alone and frustrated. Any fixes the Ford tech. should know? Thanks

Have heard one that sounded like yours, but my dad and I’d do not sound like that. Make them check it again.

The clicking part sounds like mine too (fuel injectors as you said), but the low-pitch drumming doesn't sound like mine.

The low-pitch drumming could just be an artifact of your phone mic though...
