So I was going through the screens to get pictures for another topic and I noticed I was not able to pull up engine coolant temp. Is this done anywhere on the Lariat(diagnostic screen or otherwise)? Appreciate the help!

I find it strange that you are only able to pull up a warning and not be able to monitor something so basic on the engine.

It is on the tach page - one option is just the tach and fuel gauge and if you press the down arrow again it will show the tach, the temp gauge and the fuel gauge (the temp and fuel gauges are kind of stacked).

Going to the page suggested gives me fuel, then next option is fuel/tach. There is no third option. I know on the XLT version the coolant gauge is inside the tach. Mine doesn't give that option.

Will get some pictures up tonight after work.

This is what mine does:

Tach with gas gauge:

Press down arrow and you get Tach, gas and temp gauges:

Press down once more and you get the offroad gauges (I have the FX4 package):

Press down once more and you get the digital speedo:

There are a couple more screens after this but you get the idea.

Thank you gentlemen, I was using the third area for MPG, it didn't occur to me to press down from the tach display itself. It was driving me bonkers going through the menus and only having the option to change temp from C to F...lol!

Answered my other question of a digital speedo as well!

In addition to the topic... Go into settings > display > Fuel + Tach

This will Show you the fuel gauge and tach while being on the other display pages such as the off road pages and air pressure page.

I don't recall seeing that page before. I will have to look for it tonight.

That option was what I was running with while I had was doing MPG testing, I'll have to have the terrain page up next time I do my road trip to see what angles I have to refine the stats for nerds I'm doing on my build page. :D

Found it - but I mis-read your first post - I thought you said fuel + temp gauge. I have seen this option before. I don't really like the vertical tach - I'd rather see fuel and temp gauge all the time, not just on the tach screen. Oh well.

I understand the frustration, hopefully more customization comes out in future rangers so you can have the gauges you prefer without choosing a compromise. I would like to see an option to throw speed up on the windshield via a HUD, I see there is aftermarket options for that now.
