Dummy question about changing reverse bulbs

I purchased some LED reverse bulbs to replace the stock ones. The installation videos I've seen are not for trucks with blind spot sensors. Before I started twisting on stuff I figured id ask before breaking something.

I've attached a pic of what I'm looking at when I remove the taillight housing. Where is the reverse bulb located and how do I get to it? I didn't want to start taking things apart without asking, I know those sensors ain't cheap.

Think the LED taillights have led reverse lights already. Could be wrong but they look really white to me.

I think you're right. Just pulled the blis off and they're LED. Oh well, ill just return the bulbs.

dont feel dumb, i did the same thing shortly after i got my truck. (i felt dumb, but that doesnt mean you have to!) didnt realize they were led until i looked at my window sticker

I just wanted something brighter at the boat launch without having to run wiring to light bars or anything like that. I spent maybe 5 minutes reading up on it before ordering so I can't really be that surprised.

yeah, same mistake here... ended up buying a small led bar that goes on the license plate. Spliced into rev lights on taillights, pretty bright.

I just got that same one. Very bright and I don't have cube lights hanging down from the bumper. I T-ed into the center wire on the 7 pin trailer connector. The only issue is, the tailgate pushes against it when fully open.

Yep. Same with license plate frames.

it does, i installed it on bottom of plate because as you said the tailgate would push against it. Still lights up the area well.
