Any experience with this inflatable type doughnut? Or what are you using/other ideas?
I have never had these before but want to blow A/C back there for the dog.
Thank you!

I’ve put in a lot of those when I worked at a shop that sold caps. Good simple solution.
In Michigan, we found this really didn’t get heat or a/c to the back. You could feel it if you had your head in the window.

Thanks for the input. I will have a fan in the canopy that will hopefully help "pull" the A/C air back into the canopy. Even a few degrees will help. I have always had German Shepherds and they tolerated the heat. My new breed of choice (Portuguese Water Dog)...well...with his coat, A/C is helpful.

I didn’t know an actual product existed. Several years ago, I was moving and drove my 2001 XLT and my dogs from New Brunswick to Ontario. I used a bicycle tube to achieve the same thing. I think it was for a 20” balloon tire.

My Cocker Spaniel curled up on the passenger seat, while my Golden Retriever ignored the comfortable bed I made for him in the box, and stood for the entire 18-hour trip with his head poking into the cab through the slider. ?

Back in the days of the Ford Courier and Chevy LUV, I used to see these donuts a lot on trucks with camper shells.
Dang, I now feel quite old!

They make cooling fans for crates.
Why not just open the topper windows and put a fan on the crate?

I will probably do that too. I just wanted to be able to blow AC back there and also talk to my Dog while on the road.....because he listens (better than my other human half):LOL::crazy:

Totally understandable.

My dogs don't travel far so they aren't usually crated. Most if the trip at least one of them has their head in the window.
