It's an acoustic laminate glass. There is a vacuum gap between the glazings for sound absorption. I think it first showed up on the Lincoln MKS back in 2010 or 2011.I noticed that small touch they added, just like Jeep does. I like it.
Has anyone noticed this at the bottom of the drivers side windshield....what does it mean? It is obviously patented by Ford.....
