There's a few around here with low profile tires an wheels with the offset so it sticks way out past the fender lip. I've seen 3 or 4. I prefer taller sidewalls on a truck, especially a 4x4. If I had a 2 wd reg cab older ranger with a 5.0 swap I'd lower it a little an run some performance street tires. A lot of the younger kids now don't even care about cars/trucks so it's nice to see some getting into the hobby even it it's not my bag.

yep...here in Houston quite a bit. mostly its on trucks and suv's that won't ever see a spec of off-road dirt. as was stated...its their dime...I chuckle each time I see 'em.
