Ok. Let me start off by apologizing to anyone I may offend. Lately, in my area, I have noticed very nice new trucks that have been lifted and have what looks like bicycle tires on them, and I'm not talking about regular skinny tires. The trucks themselves look great - until you look at the tires. Is this a thing where ya'll are? ( I know, "disturbing" is a little dramatic.:))

Hi Tracy,

Do you mean that the rim size is like a wagon wheel with it being all rim and just a band of rubber around the rim? We have that here in Arizona...23" rims..

Like the top one but less tread. More like the one like Ronbo showed. Actually looks like a bicycle tire (or wagon wheel as Phil said). Not much wider than a bicycle (looks like :) ). These two trucks look ok. The ones I saw just looked peculiar!

just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

One of the biggest issues with really large wheels and tires, is the fact the topping distance is several times lengthier (I didn't exaggerate!!). The ride, handling, and the steering input is all different, resulting in all sorts of safety issues. To me, it shows how small thinking some folks are!

I guess for a hobby or car show, it would be pretty cool. I couldn't imagine driving it like that to work everyday or traveling. :)
