I took the boat from the park (I don't remember which park) to the campground in order to eat at the restaurant one evening. It was a nice boat ride that was very relaxing after a long day in the park. I'm not sure I'd want to rely on it to get to the park in the morning, though.
The boats were spot on for us, and we intentionally asked for a 400 site, which was granted, which meant it was only about a 5 min walk to the docks.

Every time we rode one in or out we passed another on the same route. They were running one large and one small most of the time it looked.

Totally dependable as far as we saw all week.

We took the RV on a road trip thru the Gulf states and spent 5 days at Fort Wilderness, had no issue on the roads with my short Class A, (but did unhook the toad) had lots of practice in state parks. We enjoyed it but to tell you the truth I really liked our full day at the Cape Space Center as much. When we left there we did the East Coast up to Maine before heading West to visit family in Michigan. It was a 2 month trip.

We have a cousin who rents a space for their camper in the keys every summer.

We went down one weekend, their neighbors were maybe 10 feet from them, and the golf carts with music blasting were driving around with drunks until the wee hours of the morning. F that.
Same with Margaritaville. Sites are so close you have to find a spot based on whether you have slide outs. They also implemented a curfew where everyone has to be inside at 10 PM, which to me is almost as bad as having people driving around all night.

I hate places like that. If I'm going to go somewhere to camp, even if it's in an RV, I'm going to want to sit outside if it's nice. Being outside is the whole point.

I'm totally on board with quiet hours at night, so no generators, loud outside TVs or music, drunken parties, etc. But I'd rather see people walking around and hear other people having conversations than be forced inside at a set time.

This is why we like Boondocking so much, sit up into the wee hours looking at the stars, talking, having adult beverages, and just enjoying the peace and quiet! No news or social media.

Such great memories of staying there as a kid! Loved the outdoor movies, and spending time there with family and friends.
