Discolored glovebox

Hey everyone, I have a ‘19 Ranger and in the sun the glove box looks brown and the latch is black anyone else have this issue??

Have a '19 as well. Yes my glovebox is the same way looks brownish at certain angles compared to the rest of the dash color

Are you going to see if they will warranty it or are you going to live with it?

I’m thinking when I take it in for its second oil change, see if they will warranty it for me. It bothers me a lot!!

If I remember next time I schedule an oil change I'll bring it up. I keep forgetting about it since I never carry passengers lol

If they wont warranty it the glovebox assembly is only $72 + shipping

Dang it. Now you have me wondering. I think mine is different colored.
Gonna have to go check. Just like the shifter lights...

Probably not the best lighting since its in the garage with LED overhead lighting and camera flash but looks pretty darn close to same color to my old eyes. I haven't used any cleaners or treatments on it so nothing there to affect color. Just wiped down with a damp rag on occasion.
I do recall taking a second glance at it in daylight once, maybe when cleaning the interior and thought the color was slightly different but nothing to ever make me think that it was really off.
