Defective rear defroster grid

I cleaned my rear window with water and
A rag and grid lines broke off. Would
Ford cover this under warranty?

Its more than a few breaks. All of the lines wiped off. At first i thought it might been some protective film but then on a foggy
Morning it didnt work . It shouldn’t have
Come off by cleaning the window with
A damp rag. That’s defective to me.
Im going ford today to see what they say.
