Got mine installed. Fits fine.

They can charge a crap load for push button start, so I doubt it was omitted for that reason. My guess is it’s 20c that they can shave from every keyed vehicle they sell, or they were having trouble getting them made stateside for the first year of production.

Any update on glow in the dark?

I got the heavens design item it fits great and I painted it black.

You don't need to paint mine. They come in a a black plastic with a satin finish. t4thfavor's post above shows what they look like unpainted.

Glow in the dark coming up. Sort of a Halloween thing I guess.

I can't say it's the most useful thing. I guess the best way to describe it is that if it went from sunny to darkness quickly then you would have a wonderful glow in the dark ring. But the sun sets slowly. In this case your not always going to get much glow in the dark action.

It's not a question of the material quality. This stuff really zings especially when you hit it with UV light, and it glows for a long time. I've used it for fishing lures in the past and it worked great.
