My own dealer and others - Here is the proof...

Hmmmm - Just for giggles I did a comparison and a 2021 Nissan Titan V8 is worth less than my 2019 smaller (less is more but in higher demand Ranger)

Yep , just bought my 2020 Lariat back in Sept and already had offers of more than I paid . Right now it's not worth it because it's only a couple grand extra but I hope it holds out until my Bronco gets here for trade in .

Mine too, I hope it holds its value till when the next model comes out.

If I trade in now, i can basically pocket back everything i have paid so far. Kbb says I have $10-12k equity in trade in value

I'm tempted to pay off bills and drive a beater for now though.

I am too but the tax saving is worth more trading in by $3-$4,000 more!

That's how I got here. Found out my 2019 Frontier appreciated $5gs. Was just playing with the idea of getting a new vehicle before I heard that. Went looking for a Mav and found myself here after some time.

Mine as well. Took it in for 1st oil change and they offered 36k for it. Not one Ranger on the lot at the time.

Mine is insane as well. But then again, there is nothing out there I want that requires not waiting forever. Low Trade in is $6k over what I bought the truck for brand new.

All that is great news for sellers. Making $ on a new car at 1 year later has never happened to me. This one is my 4th ranger. 86, 94, 04. Not giving it back. Only issue I've had has been the ext window seals. Lot of defects in 'em.
Merry Christmas Everyone one and God Bless

Bought my 2020 in March 21. Fully loaded Lariat. Haven't had any offers and the online offers don't cover my costs. I wouldn't sell unless I could make money, and I'm going to hold off on upgrading until a PHEV 6G... hopefully

When I did the carvana quote they were lower than what others were getting. I assume this is because I checked yes to suspension mods. Bilstein front level struts. Also it's a extended cab. I know the crew cabs are about 2K more sticker but I don't know if they retain more value do to being more in demand.

Everytime I've mentioned blue book value I get the "that doesn't really mean anything" speech from the dealership. Had anyone actually gotten that kind of trade in value? It values mine at $40k but a local dealer has new tremors on the lot for $43k
Depends on Area to be honest. Some area's you can still find them at MSRP or even X-Plan. Most here in SoCal are 2-5K over MSRP.

Uncheck that mod box when doing the quote, they dont look at much when they pick them up to buy.And run a check 2 times a day the price usually goes up.

I sold 2 cars to them, the process was easy as can be

I've had the same thought since mine is worth more than I paid. Problem is where will I find another one? The ones on lots in my area are all loaded 4x4's that are running in the mid to high 40K's, and I don't need all that. And to order one will probably take 6 months to deliver. So, I'm stickin' with the horse that brought me......:)

I have two offers on the table now for my 2019 Lariat, one is $46K, only has 8K miles on it as I bought it as a new leftover in October of 2020.
I stand to make about $5K over all I have invested to upgrade it to a perfect ride. Only concern we have right now is it’s a 7 month wait at minimum for a new vehicle shipped here…. But I am seriously on the fence!
