I ordered a 2021 Tremor about 6 1/2 weeks ago and the Vin # was created yesterday. So now I am just counting the days until they make delivery. It was originally projected to be here on March 12th, hopefully not too long. Does anyone have any experience with ordering a vehicle? How long did it take after your Vin was created?

I got my VIN pretty early on (IIRC in 3 weeks), but it took 13 weeks for mine to arrive. To be fair to Ford mine got caught up in some test runs of the new Bronco. I don't know if that's the reason it took so long, but that's what I told myself to help with that infernal wait. :)

ordered my Truck March 3 and picked it up from the dealer June 26th. Of course, the plant was shut down for two months due to Covid, so that slowed things down a bit.

It was 4 weeks after I got my VIN, I had my Truck

Thank you for the feedback. 4 weeks from the Vin # isn't too bad. Hopefully it's the same case for me.

I did order the vehicle but did not follow the process very closely, as I ordered my 2019 Ranger in late Spring (from the dealer), and then left the country for several months. I was waiting for me when I got back in August, which worked out great. Even if it had arrived earlier, it would not have done me any good.

Got my VIN last week, was told 22 March build date. I want mine out of MAP before the Bronco goes into full production. Ford is gonna make more $$$ per vehicle on the Bronco so I don’t want to see the Ranger line and resources reduced for the Bronco.

Nice, be glad for the pics when happy day gets here.

BTW, you could pick up a tailgate damper and have it on hand. THE DAVE (@AzScorpion ) has a secret code and a special winner surprise when you do

It’s so exciting and agonizing at the same time waiting and tracking it’s progress. Congratulations!

One step closer! My dealer wasn't able to meet my counter offer for my 2018 Escape trade, so I checked into Carvana for an outright purchase. Did the whole deal online and got quite a bit more than the dealer offered cash. Simple deal, quick process full disclosure and painless.
I would give them a shot at my business for a purchase or trade when the time comes to do something about our '09 Mariner. I'm still 6-8 weeks out for the Ranger, but we can limp along with one vehicle for that long.
