live in Virginia and I have FX4 Ranger with Hankook Dynapro ATM 265/60R18 110T tires and confused about what tire pressure to go with. I received the Ranger from dealership with tire pressure reading 47 psi, but the door jamb says 30 psi and online I see it says 35 psi.

There's another thread about shipping the trucks from the factory with high tire pressures. Dealers are supposed to reduce the pressure to what the door jamb states during the pre-delivery check. Your dealer (and a LOT of others) missed that step.

I would follow the door jam. 47 PSI is way too high.

Do you have a tire pressure gauge to double check that the TPMS is accurate?

yes, I will definitely double check that 47 reading and than most likely deflate...thank you.

If your not hauling anything use door. Max pressure on tire is for max weight the tire can handle. Does this make more sense.

My ride was a bit bumpy on way home. Checked tire pressure, and it was 47. Reduced to 30 will see what it rides like tomorrow.

Factory fills high so they don't get below recommended by the time they are delivered. to dealers. Dealer Prep is supposed to verify and adjust before delivery to the Customer!

Yeah mine was 45psi and no the dealer probably won't check it. Am running 34 now will try 30 tomorrow. Slime gauges at wally world work well and you should already have one anyway???

Door tag says 35 and I run with 33. I like a bit softer ride.

With the bumpy ride the PSI is the first thing I checked... Mine was at 31 on the Hankook 18 tires. Taller tires also mean harsher ride across the board. They look nicer but perform less comfortably transmitting shock
